We use the Google Pixel 4a, 4a 5G, and 5 due to their compatibility with GrapheneOS. They are great phones that have been used due to their security chip and overall performance.

Due to this not all applications will work with this phone, though most of the security and privacy based applications such as Signal, Telegram, Protonmail, and many more do work. The GrapheneOS Auditor app uses hardware security features on supported devices to validate the integrity of the operating system from another Android device. It will verify that the device is running the stock operating system with the bootloader locked and that no tampering with the operating system has occurred.
